season. Having not played for a few weeks and up against a good Binley side I had stressed before
the game that the lads would have to be focused and concentrate to get thewin that we needed.
First half the lads were amazing and fully deserved their 5-1 lead at half time. Some brilliant football
produced some very well taken goals.Second half the lads lost their focus a bit and Binley capitalized
with some very well taken goals themselves. Mount Nod rallied and showed their quality by securing
the win. Some massive performances through out the team, with Luke B, Adam, Morgan, Dan and
Junior linking well in attack. Jamie M, Regan, Tyler and Lewis were fantastic and looked well organised
and Josh had a game that Reina would have been proud of! Zaire worked really hard and a special
mention to Luke Diston who took his chance when he came on as sub to show he can tackle as well as
he can play with the ball. Lewis was a deserved man of the match at left back today and was like a Jack
Russell from hell. Binley’s players conducted themselves very well but a good game of football was
spoiled by adults that really should know better. Well done lads, you showed your class today!
