Give me the time and chance to make my own decisions on the football pitch
(I need to learn the wrongs to get it right)
Please do not shout at me or tell me off from the side lines when I do get it wrong.
Give me time to relax, play and enjoy my football....You,ve had your day
(I need the mistakes to help me learn)
Listen to me if I come to you with a problem, Sometimes I just need you to listen
(A simple chat and arm round my shoulder is all that I may need)
Remember, I am a child not an adult. I do not always see things like you do or even understand what you are saying,
and just think about it maybe I can not pysically do what your telling me to do, even if I try my hardest.
Never forget I am your child not a professional footballer,
I really want you to come and enjoy watching me play football just because it's me
